Revelstoke, Bristish Columbia

Today we are going to feature an amazing place in BC, Canada that would be an ideal location for a dirt biking holiday.
Revelstoke, BC is about 2.5 hours away from Kelowna and is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It is a year round mountain community and is tucked away from the crowds.

Revelstoke BC is home to the Revy Riders Dirtbike Club only 10 minutes from downtown Revelstoke. Here you will find a large outdoor motocross track, an endurocross track and a beginner’s track.
The main motocross track features sandy berms, natural elevation changes and large table tops. On the endurocross track you will find rocks, logs, tires and lots of obstacles to make it more of a challenge. The beginner’s track (also great for kids) has a few jumps and berms to practice with.
The Revy Riders Dirtbike Club started in 2008 when a passionate group of riders stood together to keep their local track from being decommissioned.
Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful. They were wildly determined though so they obtained tenure from the government and developed what is now one of the best dirt bike riding places in southeastern BC.
There are 80 km (or 50 miles) of machine built; single track trails in the area. The trails are mapped based on difficulty so that you can easily decide which track is best for your skill level.

Some local events include:

  • The Triple B Rally, which is a ladies only ride and takes place in July. The event includes trail riding, dinner, prizes and a bonfire during the evening.
  • Papa John Classic Moto Weekend, in September is a 2-day event that includes a poker ride and an off-road race that is great for both competitors and spectators.
